No more babies.

So yesterday we FINALLY put Paige in her own room. She has been begging for months to get her own room and we finally agreed to get rid of the toy room and turn it into her bedroom. Two weeks ago we cleaned out the toy room. We had two garbage bags of toys and broken toys that we threw away and we had two bags we are going to donate to a charity.

As Jai was putting her bed together last night I was really emotional. Near tears, I didn't actually cry but I wanted to. Not sure why. When Paige was born we bought a crib that turns into a toddler bed and a full sized bed. The idea of not having a crib or a toddler bed in the house made me sad. No more babies, no more toddlers. Now, don't get me wrong I am not saying I WANT another child but I was sad. Because heaven only knows what would happen to me as a person if I added one more human being for me to take care of. I might find myself in a mental institution somewhere.

Maddie keeps asking where her new bed is. She is moving into Hannah's old bed on the bottom bunk (which is new to her) and Hannah is moving to the top bunk where Paige used to be. We had told Maddie that she would be getting a new bed but apparently she isn't as easy to pull one over on as we thought. She has asked several times since yesterday evening when she is getting her new bed. When I told her she is getting Hannah's bed she told me "That's not new!" Hmmm. No it's not new but it's new to you. "I want a new bed." not going to happen sweet pea. We will have to see how long in takes before she understands we aren't buying her a new bed.

Paige is soo excited to have her own room. She originally wanted a horse room. I have been looking for weeks for horse decorations and bedspreads and have come to the conclusion that I am going to have to sway Paige in a different direction. All the horse things I have found are horrible. Very western and just plain ugly. I think we will have to put up a couple shelves that she can put her horses on but the horse room just isn't going to happen. If anybody reading this has a cute idea for a girl room that would include horses let me know.
